About Our Dog

Shane was born on May 15, 2005, along with six siblings. Shane is a female Labrador Retriever. I brought Shane home with me when she was only two weeks old. She is incredibly playful and fiercely loyal. She has always been great around people. Shane has recently become very good at catching Frisbees. Every Sunday, we go to the park and play Frisbee. Shane is jumping higher and higher these days, and almost never misses a toss.

Shane acts tough on the outside, especially when we run into other dogs or strangers on the street. However, at home, she is a complete sweetheart. Shane eats a lot! She is always hungry. She is growing fast (You can see her growth on the Photos page).

We never had Shane formally trained, although she is mostly well behaved. She is a ball of energy, but so loveable. She has never bitten anyone and loves to give kids lots of kisses.
